Description
This photo, innocent as it may seem, got me thinking.
It is of an old Volvo stationwagon, one brought over from Europe many years ago. Obviously this is an old license plate.
Oddly it got me thinking philosophically.
Why be one for Connecticut?
Why be one for any state?
Why be one for any place?
Why be one for any people?
Why be one for anything?
Why be one?
Why be?
Sorry to go off on a tanget here, but it is Saturday and it is happy hour...why be one for happy hour...oh, why not?
Happy Saturday night!

wish I was 14 again with what I know now lol why not.
Why naught be? Why be naughty? Y B driving on expired tags?
Nice! I owned Volvos's for many years. Now I am saving a spot in my garage for an Aston Martin. Yeah, I know, It seems far fetched but I got a plan and a space for it. As far as the photo commentary goes. TOO DEEP and too little time! It's a state of mind!! Got me going though. Thanks KP
I'm with ya Jocko --to be 14 ,,But that puberty stuff --can I skip it ?? I hope you have a Wonderful Happy Hour (S) 1/4GAL. ((hope he's not loose without a keeper ))shh!! May those electric sheep glide your path !!
Why be one for ALL! give back to life as much as life gives you but I don't think any of us will ever give as much as we have been given, but we sure can try:):):):):)
They are boxy, but good ? (Volvo's, a line from a movie with Robin Willams) YB 14...Young Body 14 ? neat capture and thought provoking, but I really loath those cars and the drivers of those particular vehicles, they wear stoopid hats while driving them, well under the speed limit...what's the story there ? Cheers
Tis an old plate, no longer in circulation. Great shot & follow up!
I must say that this image certainly got you thinking. I really like it and it is quite thought provoking. Excellent work.
Ahhhhhhhh.....Why indeed???? Love this shot and the thoughts it provoked. BTW....I ALWAYS have deeper thoughts during and after happy hour. I drive an 85 Volvo...a good old car...and it's not especially pretty...but has taught me the lesson of the value of a dollar and also the getting from point A to point B in a frugal manor. :o)b PS....I don't have a stoopid hat and I am often seen doing at LEAST 60....LOL
Superb brain tickler!!! My favorite liscense plate number is 6UL DV8.......
Our mission in life is to go beyond asking why to actually determining why. I think.
Neat composition here! :)
WOW!! Amazing colors and lighting. you made a very good art work in this one and sorry i cannot to answer at your question... Good day and hugssss ;)
Well, there is the legended tale of the philosophy professor at Harvard (it may not be apocryphal) who asked in a final exam, "Why?". There was one A: "Why not?" Which one puts in Chinese as: Wei shenme? Wei shenme bune? Superb depth, but the thumb is GREAT!
The paint job looks so pitted it reminds me of the stars in the night sky... You sure have an excellent way of inducing the thought process!! I love that about you!!!!!! excellent!!!!
I have to agree with Akemi. That's exactly what I find fascinating about your work and your uploads. You always make us work just a little bit harder when we see it,lol.(Well,at least those of us who care to look and listen...and think, doh(!).Now,there's a concept, lol.) Hmmm...Why be one for anything?Well,I'm one for learning.I think when you stop learning, you cease to be and life loses all meaning...and that's my take...and I'm sticking to it,lol.Have a lovely Monday,Kortalouche.-M :^)
wow, what a super super work!!!! excellently done!!! :)
YB Normal? Interesting letter and number combination....Makes my head hurt...but the shot is thought provoking...Aloha!
