Great shot. They are very pretty.
Wonderful shot!!!!!!!
We are suffering a heat-wave here and your shot almost has a Christmassy effect! Thanks for reminding me of snow. You have a very good composition and lovely, clear colours and shapes here. Lovely photograph.
What a nice shot! I agree - there is such a diversity in the Pacific Northwest - cute little guys like this, ranging up to some 8 or 10 inches long. Lori still collects them on our travels. Last Christmas she sprayed some with fake snow and did some really nice decorating around the house. I had to be careful where I sat!!! :)
Excellent shot..!!!! cool mood... well done.
Wow! I've never seen pine cones this color! A great capture!!! Your focus is fantastic!
I see Steve is up to no good again eh Maria.....lol I think the corner would be a perfect place for him. He need time out.....lol...I have never seen purple cones before, Hummm Steve will have to get me some for my collection. Nice Image Maria....
I've never seen pine cones this color before. Thank you for sharing.
Stunning work Maria! Bravo!
These are Spruce, not Pine, but this is a gorgeous composition, perfectly lit. FWIW, these cones shatter on the tree instead of falling intact, and scatter their seeds all around the tree. The squirrels don't have to do any work, just pick up the seeds off the ground. :-)
I almost never see them that young - how cute. Terrific photo too.
