Difficult to see from here but it resembles an European mushroom: Amanita rubescens L., excellent edible IF COOKED. If its tissues are pink/red near the holes caused by worms or injuries, it's this one. There's a ring which, for some varieties (var. sulfurea), can be lightly yellow. Have a great harvest! By the way, nice shot ;)
I love them, too. Great shot.
Troy, an excellent shot...great colors and I like that the roon has this curl to it..
Perfect mushroom, beautifully exposed! I hope this mushroom does not poses hallucinogenic juices.....which could put you into a trance state to see the supernatural world. Have a great weekend, Troy.

Great shot my friend. The color is so beautiful with the green background. Thank you :)
Schrooms are great. I have spent the last few months crawling around on the ground photographinh mushrooms everywhere. I even had a lady walking past my front yard asking if i was ok (because i was lying flat on the ground taking macro shots)!! They look pretty similar here in Australia. Cheers from Lou
