We saw this by the road today. Seeing it called up a nostalgia for times long ago when this would not be an unusual sight.
Hope your weekend has been enjoyable.
Thanks for looking!

Super shot Ken! Well spotted... We have little places like this. I buy fresh eggs from the farmer, coolbox is by wayside .. I put my money in the honesty box :-) Nice to be nice, isn't it :-) Hugs, Di.
Not an unusual sight in my neck of the woods, the honorary system is still in full swing 'round here...I wonder, if by any chance they are selling mushrooms ? get your stick, Ken ! fine frame & capture Cheers
This is too cool! There used to be a farmer in our area that had a 'self-serve' dairy/milk machine. You could fill up a container with fresh milk that was being processed. It was so rich and yummy :)
makes a tear come to my eye. living now in the city I miss this sort of human living. Beautiful. Simply beautiful...

I love this! It does remind me of how it was when I was young. Before Bill Gates changed the way American business thinks and acts, and Before George W. took that new philosophy of greed and exploitation into the White House and we screwed ouselves and the whole world and... Oh, sorry I, slipped back to present day in the big city, let me look at this again.. Ahh, now thats better.
