Description
In his comments for my last image, TwoPynts (who I notice has changed his avatar to Gir riding a pig) expressed interest in seeing more of my photos. Well, that made me feel all warm and gooey inside (Tums took care of that) so yesterday I went down the road with my camera again and came away with about 20 shots, some very good. This, however, is not one of them, because I went back to the pond today when the sun was high and took some more. I only got 3 frog "portraits", but to my amazement they all turned out good and I couldn't wait to show you guys. This IS one of them, and I'll post another one tomorrow. Eventually I'll post one of the good 'uns from yesterday too. Good times!
A rather depressing side note: It seems riko's gallery is empty now, probably due to the recent rise in censorship -- I don't keep up with the forums much, so if anyone left some explanation as to how this happened I'd appreciate if someone would give me the link. I really liked riko; he was a genius Photoshop painter who did alot of techno pinups and pulp sci-fi stuff. He was also into latex/rubber fetish, which is NOT the same as "extreme or explicit S&M bondage" and he NEVER posted anything sadistic, sexist or obscene, in fact there's an air of class about his work that totally goes against established stereotypes of fetish pinups. Despite the fact that I don't paint in Photoshop and I'm not a huge fan of latex, I really admire the guy and it's sad to see him go. Next photomerge I do is dedicated to him.
I noticed awhile ago that promiselamb's gallery has also disappeared. If one of you knows what happened to her I'd like to know that too, although I strongly suspect it was for similar reasons. I hate what this newfound strictness is doing to the community.

I am not familiar with him but he may of deleted his gallery. many has left but many more are taking their place and some that left came back with new names. at any rate your frog shot is excellent. I always scare them off and turtles. I look forward to the other shots
do not know why people leave or get the boot. but this shot of the frog is super
wowww, excellent shot my friend!!!!!! i like that... Good day and kiss ;)
Really cool shot of this handsome frog!! I also don't have a clue about all the drama going on around here, sorry.
Don't know how you got so close in direct sun but this is a cool shot. There have been some very talented folks/artists who have gone away of late. We humans/society will evolve again, returning from conservatism. No worries except, will I live that long to see it.
