Tucked away on the Ridgeway between Wiltshire and Berkshire I came upon this delightful cottage from it's name it once was the Shepherd's Cottage.. My idea of a little escape to the country..

wowww, impressiv photo.. Can you to give a little more lighting in this one? I like very much... Well done. Good day and kiss ;)
Beautiful cottage, a storybook look and feel, Thank you for sharing. HUGS!!!!!!
I am not quite sure how Thatcher persuaded anyone she was Queen Victoria, or the least bit "moral" for that matter, but the return to traditional values that never existed in the first place was a central part of her program. She was decisive in pushing the Elder Bush into the first Iraq War.....With his hands on Kuwait, Hussein, naturally, would have lowered oil prices and sold Kuwaiti crude at a vast discount, hehe. Neither British nor American Oil interests could permit that, hoho....
Looks so quaint and like a storybook setting... Love it... Vote n hugs Susan~

Excellent architecture and photo too....!!! Beautiful soft lighting.....!!!!!
Excellent capture Danny!! Beautiful work of art!
How utterly charming!
I love this kind of cottage, so beautiful and typically english! it's remenber me the Anne Hattaway's cottage in Strafford upon avon, a fantastic town!
Typical of what used to be a labourers cottage, or probably two. Nice shot of what is now an idylic country retreat. Though if it were me I want roses round the door too :D
Most beautiful my friend...... very interesting.:O))
Wow! What an awesome home (hate the tiny front yard though). What a delightful find! It's like a storybook house, perhaps out of Hansel and Gretel, or Little Red Riding Hood, or one of those world-famous children's books. Over the river and through the woods, to grandmothers house... OK, I'm sorry! No more singing! Beautiful image my friend! Have a fantastic day Danny!
Beautiful and magical!!
That roof is simply wonderful! Love the color too...what a fantasyland kind of place! Excellently seen and captured Dan! Sorry I am so far behind in commenting...love your work! V
Lovely little find this Danny. I have to admit I would be a bit nervous living in a house with a thatch roof having seen quite a few go up in flames around here lately but they do look the part.
Looks like a very peacefull place to live...!!! V
