Description
A slight detour as we head on out towards the waters.
Some months back, I bought a 'bird-proof' squirrel feeder. Usually it's the other way around. However, I am tired of watching those %$#@ pigeons gorge themselves on the stuff we put out for the squirrels. We have a long, amusing relationship with the tree rats and we enjoy watching them figure things out.
It took thems some time to figure out this particular box was not a trap. You can hear them openining and closing it at all hours.

Hehehehehe.. what a funny picture. Birds indeed can be very smart when it comes to catching food. BTW: the baboons are doing rather well today.. thanks for visiting them.
Great photo! We do the opposite -- we set up bird feeders and have trouble keeping the squirrels away! I haven't been able to capture any decent shots of either, though. This one is great! :^)
