Description
I'd like to thank everyone here at Renderosity who have commented both positively and constructively on my gallery thus far. Thank you for stopping by and having a look at my work. Please feel free to leave any comments you consider suitable, I appreciate all of them.
This render did not turn out as well as I had hoped. I first experimented with mist effects in my previous rendering, "Hot, Steamy Coffee". Here, I tried to expand upon that by adding atmospheric lighting to create a foggy environment. The results still do not appear all that convincing to me.
I would like to thank www.Nerd3D.com for the insightful tutorial on how to produce atmospheric lighting effects. I would never have gotten this far without it.

I would also give special thanks to a couple of artists for the free use of their creations which I have utilized in this picture.
ISOP (http://iso.power.ne.jp/) for the Casablanca Outfit for Michael.
sagersweb for the Column
DAZ3d for the free use of the Michael 3 model.

Wow I'm getting shivers down my spine by this one!! Jack the ripper comes to mind immediately!! Outstanding!!
I don't know... I personally think the fog is magnificant. I would suggest possibly, trying the smudge tool in photoshop on some of the fog "lines". I think that might make the difference you're looking for. Great Image!
Oh, I like it...a lot!!! It seems a scene taken from a dark movie...Trully Excellent work!!!!
Outstanding!! The fog is superb!!
Excellent atmosphere and mood!!!!!!
I like the experimental nature of your work. It's nice to see someone trying to squeeze a little bit more out of these programs...
As far as trying to capture an atmosphere you succeeded 100%! I agree with Foxfire, just a touch of smudge on the areas that look a bit unnatural would work wonders. There aren't many areas that need it though, for the most part it came out excellent!
Mysterious! Love the mood you created here. I also like how the man comes out of the fog. The light on the lampost is awesome. Excellent work!
Excellent image very nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fabulous moody work here.Very film noir!I looooove the atmosphere you've created. The mist works wonderfully(!) and I love the chunky layers of grays...I only have one suggestion...The tree to the right of the lamppost...the bottom part of it doesn't look right to me.I think it should be more enshrouded and less 'defined'.But that's just me.Hope you don't mind my two cents.I rarely say anything...but I think this is really wonderful and could look even better.Have a lovely week, and hope I didn't offend.-M :^)
Love the wonderful atmosphere in this image!! Excellent!!!
Wow, that is quite the image. Looks much like a scene from an old 1950's movie. Dodgeing the fog in postwork does make quite a difference. I use a smoke brush to get the effects I like. Great Job!
Wow. Simply wow. This is an instant fave. The atmosphere is outstanding.... Or would be an instant fave If I knew how to add this to my faves. Curse you new gallery system and my demented brain!
This has a mysterious, elegant feel to it. Bravo.
It reminds me of the night after I finished doing some photoes at the local college gym meet in Missoula MT. Excellent work with lights
