Description
The other day Mrs W spotted an ethnic festival being held in Catonsville just outside Balmer. A quick look showed this was the annual Lithuanian Festival --- just when I was hankering for a plate of halushki (go GOOGLE it)!
I grabbed the Minolta and we set off hoping to get stuffed and grab some images of folks in costume, etc. What we found was no place to park. Man! I had NO idea pierogies, halushki, kielbasa, and halupkis were that popular at 1 PM Saturday!
So we just drove around Catonsville. This is definitely one of the more traditional, high-priced spreads to live in. Suddenly we found ourselves in a street I immediately declared to be the Valley of the Doll Houses.
These are a few images from that tour. The Minolta does not have the clarity of the Canon for scenic work. (Sorry. These are more 'snapshots' than 'photographs' IMO.)
Later we wandered over to Relay. This is a whole town of doll houses.
So, grab your sunglasses and hang on. We are going around the block several times and what a treat we have in store!
Enjoy; thanks for viewing.
