Description
It just finished raining for a whole week, so my mom and I went down to the pond to see the frogs. After staring at the edge of the water for a few minutes my mom pointed out what has to be one of the fattest frogs I have ever seen. Sorry there's no sense of scale in this shot -- I think he's about the size of my hand. But damn, I'm pleased with this. I kind of suck at photography and most of my attempts come out blurry or just plain crap, but I'm not ashamed to express my pride in this one. You can see his little feet!
Thanks to my mom for letting me use her camera, and for going back to the house to get it while I stayed behind with the frog and a large mud-dauber wasp.

Glad you all like it so much. It just got rejected by stock.xchng.
Nice shot. Good crisp detail in the eyes. In fact, I think I can see reflected legs in his left one, lol. Watch out, nature close-up photography can become addictive.
So full of expression and very crisp indeed. A wonderful shot of this frog.
