First off, thank you Dennis! It worked, though it's obscured by grass...the tuft is on the tail!!
And thanks to all of you, for your comments and suggestions!
They really helped!!
I have learned how to make grass using Photoshop brushes, very cool!!
I still need some practice, but I liked how this turned out!

I can not believe you made this very realistic animation. In real life it may be a bit faster the rate of panting, but nevertheless VERY realistic.
