Description
Yesterday Charles (AKA CDBRUGG) suggested I submit an image in glorious monochrome :-) and since his skills in the B & W media are considerable and quite extraordinary, I dedicate this image to him - in the hope that he too will contribute a monochrome or two of his glorious Alps.
The is the base of the mountain EL Capitan in Yosemite - about 3,000 feet high (923M)

Yes, lots of references to Ansel...it is innescapable, but you certainly have added your own flair to this. A brilliant B&W of a magnificent subject!
