Description
Begun with sketches from an old 'Larson' picture, and then Poser 4 and then Photoshop. Modified the render toward a more 'painted' finish. Thanks for viewing.

This might have been under the counter material in 1959 with that amount of flesh on display. Bit before my time but ten shillings makes this fairly pricey, a collection of stories perhaps?
I keep asking in my local shops. but no one can tell me where to buy this wonderful old magazines - they're just the thing I remember...excellent as always...
So excellent, reminds me of the comic books my father use to hide under his bed with his "MAN" magazines... LOL Really love the tattered edge to the image, excellent presentation! (V)
great concept and fantastic image
Steph and the Gorrilla! Awesome cover art, I love how you made the pages look old.
Nice "veridic-false" magazine! Good postwork and a great sense of humour.
Your lighting is always so perfect for the illustration style and then your technique for painterizing completes the concept. Great muddy water! Suggestions would be to add some specular to the gorilla where water might be caught in the fur. Fur, tough to begin with and you have to make it wet! Maybe the same for the girl, some specular highlights on her legs at least, adds to the "sexy" quality. And you need something to boost the "sexy" quality because, while the naked girl was a good beginning, that huge knife so close to gorilla's crotch is a buzz-kill. This may be the "sense of humor" 3DClassics is alluding to. It opens itself up to "Jungle Tales of Circumcision". : ) Always great to see your work, Mike. cheers!
wow... excellent work.. ):
Very Creative! Awesome!
Another superb cover ;)
