Great shot, Lee. I just tried, and I can't find it, either. Maybe you should send the photo to one of the many arachnology sites on the web.
WOW!! excellent macro of that spider so clear and wonderfully shot !!!... nice find and capture!!
Love the spider, very don't like the frame...
Brave to move the spider, excellent photo.
Wow! Super shot of that spider! So sharp. The color/markings on it are stunning. I'd have been scared to move it without knowing if it was poisonous.
Icky looking thing! Had to poke around to see if I could find out what it is and it looks like it could be a young female or a male black widow (whatsthatbug.com/widow). The male Western Widow shown in the sixth frame down on the page looks a whole lot like that puppy except for the brown coloration.
what a F A N T A S T I C shot and work!!!! super cooooool!!! :)
Great photo. I was once told that ANY spider with red markings was not one to have around, because of the bad bites they deliver. Who knows? Keep safe, with HUGS!!!
Impressive capture of this special spider, terrific find in these vibrant colors!
I love whatsthatbug.com! Beautiful macro, you can even see the tiny hairs on his legs!
I may have commented on this previously, I don't remember (I'm old) but nevertheless, I wanted to mention again what a great shot. A favorite thing for me is shadow vs subject. Something about that makes pictures so interesting. The shadow beneath this spider is exactly what I look for. Great shot.
