Description
I bet the title got your attention you pervs! ;-) I think this butterfly was depositing eggs (if you look close you can see a yellow deposit under her bottom), these were all over the leaves that she was visiting! Yay more butterflies on their way! Anyway, I am excited about the shots and I am thinking of doing a series of these because I got quite a few good ones! I had to resize this considerably to prevent further cropping. Do you think I should have cropped it more severly to avoid resizing and losing detail? This is a delimma because I have about 7 more shots and they are all huge :-( Thank you for your much appreciated comments! Have a terrific evening!

Incredible macro! Wonderful colors too. Fascinating piece that draws you in enough to want to ask questions... excellent job Wendy +++
Lol an interesting aspect of this species is that they often clutch eggs gregariously with other females on the same plants it is a superb image and great timing is everything in nature work!!
she must have been preoccupied with her business and or trusted you. it fits on my screeen for width but height is a tad too much. it is so beautiful that it does not present a problem
Wow! you sure do put that camera to good use. Excellent!
Wonderful capture! About your cropping dilemma: nobody seems to be bothered to have to scroll a bit... Besides, I can copy your image and see it maximum size (fit screen) in seconds, if I want to (I usually do). So, keep them coming! ;-)
very cool macro
Wow girl .. this is great. I need a bigger screen though; I have to scroll up and down and sideways to see it all :( Fantastic work .. enjoy another day off :))) hugs...
It's indeed a pity that one have to scroll to see this fantastic macrophotography ! :~)
Oh wow, stunning capture of this butty looking for a good place to store her offspring! Fabulous work, Wendy, love to see these colorful details!
Awsome capture. I love seeing butterflies on thing other than flowers. The wood porch completely sets the subject apart. Great work
