That green surround on yesterday's thumbnail... not one of my better decisions!
Today we are still on Federal Hill looking north across the Inner Harbor to the downtown section of Balmer. All the racing yatchs have left, but the water is never quiet.
Today we have two visiting tall ships. On the left is what appears to be AMSTERDAM on the bow rail, in the center is the resident sloop of war CONSTELLATION (now turned around this year), and a visiting tall ship whose nameplate I cannot find let alone make out.
CLIPPER CITY is still around and a small two-master left harbor moments before I snapped this. We'll see both of these later. I believe PRIDE OF BALTIMORE II is in town after being remasted in France, but I did not espy her. TORSK and TANEY are still there, and TAMAROA moves around looking for a berth to be restored at.
The waterfront pavilions seem to have been spruced up and filled with 'Irish' bars and Hooters. Not really my scene anymore, but I'll have to get down there someday just to capture the ambiance on 'film.'
Water taxis are all over the place as are various private craft. A large marina was moved to make way for waterfront residences. We'll see some of that in progress later.
May as well take a look around the Hill while we are up here.
Enjoy; thanks for viewing.

real cool. i always wish to go on a tall ship
Fabulous shot, amazing harbour.
Really 'Great'!!!! Love the downtown picture. With your 'old navy Buddy' in Portland, Oregon, (used to walk past it on the waterfront) I realize how much the two cities are alike. Thanks so much. HUGS1
Yay, that's our Dutch flag, love to see it on this wonderful clipper! Whew! Gorgeous capture, love to see all these details!
looks like a very busy little waterway!
