Description
This was a submission to a Rendo contest. I didn't win of course and images that did were awesome. I'm afraid that my image here may not be very creative or original. I didn't copy anyone's work or see a similar image but I would imagine that it's been done before.
I like it though and hope you do too.

Fantastic composition and POV. I'm sorry you didn't win. I don't know if it's original or not but the image is very well done. Now, for once that you make a naked character, not only I think is the wrong gender but we also don't see anything. 8-) Fantastic lighting.
Great minds think alike Smiles Dayna xx
I think it Is original! Well, at least I've never seen one like it before. I think it's a great idea very executed; the lighting, composition and make up of the vines/branches/roots are all great! Well done, I say, and sorry you didn't win, but we get this treat out of it!
Wonderful image. Nice colors and lighting and it leaved me wondering. What is he trying to escape from? Perhaps a followup? S
Wow! Such an intriguing image ... are those umbilical cords attached to the character? Fraught with munchies for thought. Excellent!! **
We all get out inspiration from somewhere and then make it our own and this is wonderful and very original..I know I've never seen anything resembling it. This is a winner any way you look at it. Fantastic artowkr.
I love the lighting on this I thought it epitomised the theme extremely well.
Looks very original to me!! And very inspired!! The compsition is very powerful!! I imagine someone overcoming great illness would feel this way!
Wonderful and impressive composition!!!. You have a fantastic imagination and your scenes are incredibly beautiful! Bravo and Voto! V Hugs!
Fantastic work....especially like the branches/tentecules that are holding the figure in. Excellent. V
reminds me of a tree I posted the other day that the center is gone. your work is creative and very well done
You'd get a chuckle out of one of my earliest posts, "Le Papillon" (http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=185854, but I sure like this one better. bravo!
You may not have won, but this is an awesome image regardless.
You should have won
Wonderful! An amazing scene and so creative! Excellent!
This stimulates my imagination. This is my imagination. Our souls are connected with the container of body by the silver codes to obtain a material experience in this world. Each spiritual levels are different, so each experiences are not the same. And negative causality also is adjusted this world. This world is too hard for a certain person. But the god doesn't give the luggage that cannot be shouldered. Excellent surreal work!!
Looks great Nancy, actually some of those vines remind me of umbilical-cords and his ties to Mother Nature ? better luck next time in the compotitions !!! LOL & ~Cheers~ :o)
this is a fantastic image worthy to pose challenge ! bad luck you did'nt win. indecisiveness about the character makes it more enigmatic and thought provoking.
This is really dramatic, you certainly won in my book!!! I love the way the vines take on a sureal quality, the glimpse of light, worth reaching for!!!!
Winning is not everything Nancy - the joy you get from creating artwork like this is what counts!! Well done! :)
It looks very original to me..Splendid artwork Nancy! V :)
Cool scene and pov,...bravo!!!:o)***
Simply Brilliant composition and Idea....Excellent Nancy
Great symbolism with the ropes/umbilical cords, I love the stone textures also. Wonderful work!
Superb lighting in this, particularly in the shadows on the stone wall. Powerful, emotional scene overall.
Well I am in total AWE!! Such fantastic details, must of taken you a long time to do this! It is wonderful Nancy! Nothing like a challenge to inspire you to greatness,eh? :)
For me it deserves to win. Superb Nancy !
Looks very original to me!! Well done! Love the tentacles and the texturing! Powerful image!-V-
Great image excellent details for the objects and the lighning cool!!!!
Yeah, I do like it. I'm sure the image can be interpeted in many different ways. One is that trees spirit wants to be free yet, the tree will not release it. Corny I know, but it's early. Awesome image and it's a winner in my book.
