Description
Aloha and Good Evening~
More images from the Merri Monarch Hula Festival. Normally only women will wear flowers in there hair, while men wear fern head pieces. Ferns are also worn as ankle and wrist bracelets. Leis can be worn by either male or female. In this image the head flowers are fake, but the lei around her neck is real flowers. Fortunately for the hundreds of dancers that come to Hilo each festival, Hilo has an abundance of flowers and ferns for them to gather.
Thanks for your kind input on my last post, seems like the men want to see more of the women in this series..Aloha~
