Description
Another picture from inside the main Church of
MOSTEIRO DE SANTA MARIA DA VITORIA
BATALHA, Portugal
The chancel windows, decorated with beautiful sixteenth-century stained-glass windows representing the Visitation, the Adoration of the Magi, the Flight into Egypt and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, project a diffuse light that gives the church a feeling of great spirituality.
This is # 29 in my Portugal series

Oh what a lovely shot, just so beautifull.
Love the colorful light, reminds me of the white light of God that shines through people breaking the light and showing the wide variety of colors! Gorgeous work, Michel!
I think architectural studies is about my favorite type of images, especially when there are colored lights of any type involved. Well, maybe not my favorite, but I sure do love them, and you've captured both of those elements in this magnificent image most beautifully. Excellent work my friend, have an equally excellent day Michel!

Superbe celle-laussi! Ce que tu as pu capturer la grandeur! J'aime tellement ces vieilles cathrales, avec les grandes arches et les vitraux. C'est vrai qu'il ne s'en fait plus comme celles-ci...
