Aloha!
A shot from this mornings shoot. I wanted to see if I could get the washed out sky to have a some contrast. I spot metered the rocks and shot this..not the best I've ever taken, but then something about it saved it from the rubbish bin. Your opionions are appreciated!
Happy Friday everyone, here's to a great weekend...Aloha to All~

fantastic shimmer upon the water dave and the perspective is superb.. the relationship between rock in the fore ground and horizonal line.. perfection tranquillity.. at its best :)
This is a fantastic shot!!! The sky doesn't even have to be included, just the water, the rocks and especially the reflecting sunlight on the waves make this a masterpiece!!!
Very pretty, with all the reflective shimmering.

Hey, this is very blue. Where is this place? Looks like good fishing grounds. Very neat blend of blues.
This image reminds me of the days out at sea fishing with the reflection of light in back of the wave. Beautiful. Aloha

Wonderful and beautiful shot. The light path on the water is excellent.
Beautiful composition buddy. Nobody catches watermotion like you do, and the colors in this one sure are gorgeous. I love the hint of the sun up top. Oooh...and thanks for depressing me with your comment on Korts upload earlier. Yeah...thanks for reminding me about my inevitable death, lol. #:oP Back to work now for this swede....make every minute count. Have an awesome weekend and do feel better! #:O)
Hmm! This is exactly how I've been feeling today. The anniversary of my best friend's death is coming soon. It will be 15 years since she died in a car accident.... and I still miss & love her. It's such a beautiful photo my dear. You've captured the mood perfectly.
such an impressive shot
I'm glad you didn't toss it out. Very nice.
The sky doesn't look washed out at all,so you definately did something right!Love the pov with the rock in the foreground, the water's motion, leading the eye towards the horizon and then up,with that hint of bright sun...Lovely work,Dave.Hope you continue to have many sun-filled days.-M :^)
Its lovely Dave from the Sun in the sky I think you had to shoot it this way and the compo works for me buddy!!
Fortunately saved from the virtual huntingfields! Love to see this, in bright contrasts and thus not easy to shoot (can't have everything with only 24 bits per color) but you achieved a formidable result! Excellent work, Dave! :)
I like it, Dave. Even though there's no detail in the rocks, it's exactly what a view into the sun looks like. Very pretty shot.
wow, fantastic shot!!!! i love it!!!! :)
LOVE this one Dad, Im lookin for the trail down to the water.. Let me in! :)
