Hopalong, some of us truly love st. francis. Your comments are like pissing on our grandmothers. Perhaps you feel a need to piss on people's grandparents, and you feel you are free to do so. There is the slight possibility you are being facetious. If that's the case, you need to know your attempts at nuance have failed miserably.
"Omigod, full frontal male nudity! He talks to animals (so do many horsemen and dog owners). But they talk back to him! (Oh). He has no use for money or property (Uh-oh, that's getting REAL serious). A story in miniature of the Brothers Karamazov. Where's the nearest nuthouse, hoho. On the other hand the Franciscans really FOOKED up in Japan and in the EAST in general. Hey Pancho. Hey, Cisco....Oh, and he was a GREAT POET!" [Earlier comment] Apparently bluliner35 above knows jack crap about San Francisco (Franco-Pancho-Cisco) of AssisiAltissimu onnipotente bon signore, tue so le laude, la gloria e l'onore et onne benedictionewhich some have argued (and Pound now and then echoed) is one of the founding lines of modern vulgar poetry....Nor about Dostoyevsky for that matter....oh the REVERENCE and GRAVITY of IT ALL!
I'm speechless, I don't know what to say or what to comment about. Technically this is an art site and I respect any all critiques. But Hopalong, what exactly are you trying to say, I can't quite figure it out. Thank you blueliner, for your comment unfortunatly I don't know how to respond to Hopalong.
