Description
The wonderful capital city of the kingdom Gondor in middle-earth! Also known as Minas Arnor (The Tower of the sun).
For a long time I wanted to do a lotr image and finally had the courage ;-)
Unfotunately I used a bit too much fog in here, so I added the naked model of Minas Tirith beneath. The city is made of several terrain meshes I did in PhotoPaint . Sky is my own photography. I hope you like it and welcome your comments and ratings...

I think it took a lot of guts to make this picture. And about the fog, just render a new one with less fog and post that one too. Because we just want to see more of it.
Nicely done! I'm a big Tolkien fan so it's nice to see images like these. Minas Tirith isn't an easy city to create! Keep it up!
Am also a massive Tolkien pundit and you've done a great job on a city that's quite difficult to depict :) It's a magnificent terrain, and as someone who's only just starting to feel their way around Bryce, I take my hat off to some top work! Yup, if you get the chance, would also love to see a slightly less foggy re-render...
