the reflections is so breath taking. very beautiful
A truly wonderful composition sir-Kort!! The balance of color and texture is delightful!!! What a bonus that the water was so calm!!
Wonderful imaging and interesting lines! Would make a neat scene for a garden too ;-)
Wonderful eye!
I like the way you have left the sky out and left it all in the reflection. Makes the whole image seem upside down :-) Nice one!
under the bridge every time we can find a troll, a gold coins's chest or a beautiful pond. Nice capture

Really nice shot. Love the stonework and those pretty blue flowers.
Very beautof.. beautufi... beati... very nice shot ! (not way to use correctly my keyboard...)
This is a beautiful image. Love the water refected in the foreground tailing off down through the bridge. Superb shot. For awhile, I lived in a very remote area of West VA. and we had to cross 3 streams/rivers to get to the house. lol. I enjoyed doing it the old fashioned way but it did give me a huge appreciation for bridges, however small or minimal. I am sure those streams became roaring rivers with white water when the snow in the mountains melted. Fortunately I wasnt there at that point. lol. Excellent work !!!!
What lovely colours and reflection! The perspective of the bridge and the river beneath is so well composed. I enjoyed your caption too. Yes, one does tend to overlook bridges or take them for granted.
That is a very cool perspective! Why would anyone look above when there is so much beauty beneath it? Peaceful and relaxing. :0)
Original picture with superb reflections!
Pontifex, as in Pontifex Maximusin origin "bridge maker". It is not mistakes that are the bridge, it is LEARNING from mistakes. In order to learn from mistakes, mistakes have to be recognized for what they are, and the water under gone over again and again. Some, especially the perfect and without flaw (what their lack of memory about their own shortcomings tells them they are, and the hypocrites who cannot admit them) never learn....HAMARTANO in classical Greek--miss the mark, err. In the Christian understanding, SIN, which is not correctable, and once supposedly "forgiven" becomes "water under the bridge" and soon enough "a broken record", hehe.
i loved reading the history on bridges as i am a big history buff... your shot is nothing short of amazing ... something from a dream beautiful work !! ....
Yep, bridges are important, like human bridges between sworn enemies are important too. The orad from inexperience to wisdom will cause more than once a wet suit, but the valuable gain is not to be bought in a store, and will last like the compressed rocks! Excellent work, Kort! :)
Most interesting image to view, so many colors and texture and the reflection most of all:):)..V
