Description
Hamster Louie left us about noon yesterday, 27 February 2006.
He was about 12-18 mos. old when we got him in spring 1998, so he was no spring chicken. However, he stayed pretty active to the end. Well, as active as an ancient ferret can be at over 9 years old.
Always a dapper little guy. He certainly loved newbies... would terrorize and haze them to no end but all in the name of fun. OK, maybe being stuffed in a bag with all the toys is not fun for the newbie, but it's as Hamster would say: It's what I do!
Bye, little guy. You're back with your other buds and a few newbies who still need a smack on the head to get their attention. Your little friend Lilith hasn't quite figured out that you are not hiding.
Thank you for viewing.

I wondered what had become of be little marvel! Photo excellent! V***
He certainly was a cute little fellow, and very alert looking. I like to think that when our time has come all our beloved animal companions who passed on before will be there waiting for us on the other side.
The wife handles a few a week that come in to the animal hospital, she carries our spare camera and always come's home with pictures of them, the eyes like cats eye's seem to grab my thoughts and well there is so much to see in their eyes. I love'm all, so much easier and a pleasure to please than some humans .
I am sad for your loss!
awwww, i am sooo sorry. he's such a pretty fellow and looks too sweet to be a harrasser. I know you will miss him
My condolences. I also have a fuzzie, my third, and have lost the first two to carcinoma at ages 5 and 6 (there-abouts). Take care.
