Description
These trees are atop the granite that makes Stone Mountain, Georgia, USA. Exposed to all nature has to offer in rain, storm, wind and sunny days I find these trees hardy and having tenacity. The day of the image was cool, strong rain had subsided and fog rolled in clouds along the mountain.
Color is as shot. Image shapened and cropped, that is all. This picture actually is the way I was impressed with the scene, true to that feeling.

Beautiful shot of nature surviving at all cost.
Brings out childhood memories, it resembles an island from the Swedish west coast. Love it!

A unique view. I like the starkness of it and yet it has great interest. You have a good eye.
