They capture a planet, consume all of it's resources, then jettison the dead world.

Great scene! But I have some doubts about these enslavers, the mass of the ship is at least 1/3 to 1/2 of earths mass, this would definitely have a massive impact on the orbit of the planet, and to permamentely prevent earth from drifting away the aliens would need more energy than earth offers :-D Just kidding, great Sci-Fi scene!
