Description
This is the final result that I have been working on as an exhibit of a request I would like to have changed in Carrara. I will post a thread in the Carrara forum soon to discuss how this image was rendered and the wants I have for it.
I've updated this image to use volumetric clouds which came out great!
Thanks for viewing.

I think this water tower looks better than any toy I or any of my friends ever played with and is much better than those in train sets. It has a quality of photreality that should be unnecessary for a model to establish it's literacy. Now I myself would think it seems real if one can imagine the tightening of the turnbuckles producing distortion in the plum or squareness of the tower. That of course is virtual reality in the overdefined state. I look forward to this forthcoming win. Meanwhile this is a cool tower.
wow. Apart from being a great model, it's the little touches(lighting/effects, POV) that set it apart. Great detail. I omitted the turnbuckles,(just couldn't get em right). they really add a lot!Back to the old drawing board!)
The ladder and the POV really puts the water tower on a gran scale, excellent job here.
Nice modelling and point of view. You can perhaps work a little more on the texture because these procedural are not very "convincing" ;-)
Excellent POV! The cloud looks a bit fake, but the rest is superb!
I updated the clouds to use volumetrics. It's a signficant upgrade.
Wow!Well done! Exellent!
Excellent angle.
Goooood!! Maybe the sky is too dark, but is a great image!!
Excellent
Simply wonderful, one super image of work!!! excellent!! VOTEEEE
The turn buckles, ladder, grunge on the tower, all the right elements are here and probably the best Carrara sky I have seen!!!
