Description
my first attempt to get an interior scene globally illuminated. the modelling is intentionally simple. i tried to focus on the realistic illumination.
any suggestions for improvements are welcome.

I like this. The lighting works well; maybe a little distortion/blur to the plant shadows on the floor.
very well, but the shadows are to hard. If you used area-shadows you should soften it a bit (don't know how to explain in English, sorry)
Nice for a first GI render. Perhaps could have done with higher GI sampling values to get rid of the artifacts in the corners of the room wall. The shadows look fine to me - sunlight, through a clear sky, casts sharply defined shadows. Fow something similar in future get those table lamps turned on! They would have created a couple of nice pools of soft light to contrast with the harsh sunlight.
