Description
This is a model of a 36 ft steel 'Spray' type yacht I plan on building eventually (when I get the time & money - very broke at the moment). I developed the model in a finite element stress package to verify its strength in antarctic waters. Then I wrote software to texture map it and translate it to Wavefront .obj format. If there is enough interest I'll add masts & sails [junk rig to begin with], then release the model as a freebie. The current colour of the model is red lead primer to stop the steel rusting. The top coat will go on when I've filled in the texture templates.
