Description
The "Spirit of Hellas" is the oldest of the MR4 series of Martian exploration vehicles. It is literally a portable village with a compliment of 22 scientists, technicians, medical, Mars Exploration Service personnel, and 8 crewmembers. It is accompanied by the MR6 "Orphir," one of three of that class attached to the "Hellas." Everything in the Hellas is redundant--the back half is the mirror of the front half. It has two fusion power plants, a sick bay--really a mini hospital, a hyperponics section for growing fish and plants for food, and a small park with a half dozen trees. It can also be consider as a "land ship" sailing a oceanless world.
The Hellas is traversing a section of Mars noted for its white rocks. It is a dusty day on Mars, but they can be faintly made out in the distant haze.

Bryce 5.5, NASA and ESA photos to create terrains. Techno textures are Net freebies. Everything modeled in Bryce, except the actual tires, which came from a freebie called "RoverMU." Sorry, don't recall where I found it on the Net or who made the original model it came from. I retextured them and added them to the wheel housings.
Thanks for looking. Constructive or encouraging comments are welcomed.

Gives a whole new meaning to "eat my dust!" Excellent artwork! The hazy/dusty atmosphere you created lends realism.
Excellent modeling job. Nice rocky texture for the ground plane, too.
