Nice lighting!! It does look like it is made of gold or bronze! Funny, I am listening to a radio show (Hitchhikers Guide) on my iPod! Originally broadcast on the good old radio!
reminds me of the Woody Allen movie :-)
GOLDEN AGE OF ROCK 'n ROLL :) P&K
Beautiful lighting !! Excellent choice of a unique subject. My husband ( an old radio freak ) would love this. I will have to show him. Superbly done and very nostalgic. V
ROTFLMAO @ your quote!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Yeah, those are definitly not the kind of toys you wanna bring to the tub. #:oP Gorgeous radio once again buddy. Gotta say that you do these so well...photograph them i mean...DUH. OOOOOH!!! This will be a long comment by the way....cause i just have to tell you who dropped by today....GROOOOOOOOVER!!!!!! Yup, just picked him up at the postoffice....although those bastards at the customs added another 100 bucks to the fee though...sigh. But seeing his smiling face made it all worth it. Now im just gonna kick back, view my Archos....cuddle with Grover...and listen to some sweet CDs. Thanks pal!!!!!! #:O) MAS4EVA!!!!!!!!!

very good capture.. i like your serie on radio!!! excellent done ;) good day
That title is appropriate! I suppose this was no longer one of the cathedral style radios by '46... I am a bit surprised, though, at the font style Emerson used; I wonder whether that dial was manufactured before the War. I would have guessed that radio was 20 years older than it is. Excellent work, Kort (as usual)!
simply wonderful, one super piece of work!!! excellent!!!! :)
Wonderful this detail of this old radio. This one is a jewel, with incredible golden colors ! I think to you saturday... The wife of my brother has show me an old radio very psychedelic with an orange color incredible. I've made some shots for you, but I must select some good ones.... maybe tomorrow I send you something ;o)))) Have a good day Kort. Hugs. V

I don't ever remember seeing a radio like that before..I was only one years old when it came out..like your old radio collection..
Golden Oldie:):)..V
You realize you have to put every radio in your galllery that is on that collage. I can't wait. Impressive work on lighting for these so far. MAS4EVA
Amazing style that went into these. Great image.
excellent macro and presentaion
Beautiful radio view with great golden color.
Once again we see fine mastery of lighting and it is heightened by your compisition. Two thumbs way up here. Thank you for sharing.
Love this view!! Thanks. :0)
Nicely shot here Kort...such kewl old radios you have had the opportunity to capture...and you bring them to the screen wonderfully! Love this stuff! Aloha!
Wow, I haven't seen one of these in 25 years or better. I used to have one, but I couldn't find the specified parts I needed to get the darn thing working. I already had a nice, big paperweight, so it was gifted to a friend that thought he could get it going again. Great capture Kort!
This brings back memories of when we visited Grandpa's and would turn out the lights and listen to Mystery Theatre on the old Emerson sigh
