Description
Comming home from a birthday party in outback New South Wales, Australia my husband and I drove back into Victoria and through Yea, an area that had just been ravaged by bushfires. This was one of four bushfires in the state. this pic shows how close it came to homes and the efforts of the firefighters to save lives and properties. Sadly lives were lost including one of the firefighters.
I am posting this pic as a tribute. If you are able to, please make a donation to your local volunteer firefighters or similar emergency organisation in honour of those that risk all to save lives.

How tragic! Those firefighters are pretty awesome to beable to keep a circle around the property. Praying always helps. But donations and time are helpful too! Thank you for the tribute to all servicemen of every kind!
This is actually a pretty good picture too for a moving vehicle. It's a nice gesture too, because those men and women do a lot for humanity.
Devastating fires that leave only so little behind.... sigh Impressive work, good to keep those firemen in mind doing so much!
A definite tragedy! Sorry for your losses, either close or from your community. Great catch from a moving vehicle though. A good tribute as well.
Tragic news! Nice documentary!!
