Description
After so much rain and grey, I wanted to see some green, so I dug up an image from last summer. This is a creek that feeds Lost Lake, on Mt. Hood.
BTW, that's not a distortion, the trees really are bent like that. :-)
Thanks for looking and any comments.

I know what you mean about the rain, some nice greenery and trees are wonderful!!!!! Is this a creek that leads to that lake way back there???? otherwise, it's a very small lake?? ;)
I just looked at a topo map to see if I could find the name of the creek, and to my surprise, this is an outlet, not an inlet!! I must really be losing it, if I can't tell which way the water is flowing any more. LOL. It's actually the Lost Lake Branch of the Hood River. And yes, the lake is back there in the distance. I have one or two good pics of it that I may post.
this is a Lost World a primeval lost world. very nicely done.
Ah, my home State of Oregon, such scenic beauty. Just when I think I'm about to miss it I remember where I am now (NC), then the feeling of homesickness passes. Really great capture of this beautiful scene Dennis!
Lovely spot
What a wonderful scene! As well as the lush green foliage the textures and forms of the trees are beautiful too. Excellent capture and compo!
This is one of my favorite lakes and areas to visit. It makes me want to get my canoe out and head to Lost Lake but I think I'll wait for a day with less rain. A beautiful picture.
Beautiful capture of this half open wood! Water and trees, a wonderful combination! Keep digging, love it! :)
Beautiful capture..love it!!
So very "Oregon" with the downed timber and the crystal water. Also, the RAIN. But hey, it's what keeps this paradise lush, so I can't complain. A beautiful capture!
Wonderful picture, Dennis. Very unique.
