Description
"Forests, lakes, and rivers, clouds and winds,
stars and flowers, stupendous glaciers and crystal snowflakes;
every form of animate or inanimate existence,
leaves its impress upon the soul of man."
--Orison Swett Marden
Clouds are an ever changing natural wonder - they are never the same twice. One just has to look skyward to know that every day is a new day. This photo was taken several days ago as I was leaving work around 5:30PM. It was not quite sunset, but the wispy clouds were catching some pleasant, subtle colors. Happy Friday the 13th (Happy Birthday Lis!) and have a great weekend!

I love clouds! And there never ending variety of shapes!! These are nice "Wispy" clouds indeed! Makes me pine for Summer days lying in the grass, staring into the sky!! Nice shot!!
One of my favorites to look at also, always a treat for my eyes, and always different. Course most of the time our clouds are black and ready to rain here, but there are days like this...Nicely done Kort, that polorizer makes it stand out nicely! Aloha!
Zen baby. Love cloud shots.
A pleasure to see these - the Oregon skies are mostly a ubiquitious grey during the long months of winter. Thanks for sharing this "uplifting" view! It helped to start my morning off nicely. :)

Fascinating those clouds ! I wonder whats happens up there to form those shapes. Superb shot !
a lovely capture - isnt nature a great artist
That is awesome! Looks like a wispy flower in a meadow. I agree that clouds are so fascinating and worthy of taking pictures of them! :o)
I like the whispies. It is usually warm when we get the whispies, usually.(in LA that is). kp

Thin feathers high up in the atmosphere (can be as sing of weather change), love to spot them! Gorgeous work, Kort! They will never be the same anymore, as unique as your capture is! :)
why is it that my sky-shots always end up lookin booring?
Incredible the forms of this clouds Kort ! I've never seen something like that in the sky before ! Mother Nature has made another incredible and poetical natural painting ! And the words you've choose are perfect to illustrate this shot. Superb ! V

well....amazing! what can I say more?
Crazy sky !!!!! Vote !!
WHOA!!!! This is magnificent, Kort!!! so soft, dreamy, and reminds of Care-A-Lot!!! LOL! :) Is this the way the sky really looked? you didn't rotate the image? Wow! i love how you caught all the movement! amazing to see that! perfect timing!! the only suggestion i have would be to maybe try upping the contrast a bit and see what you think. but you might make this image pop by increasing the contrast. then again...i love it just the way it is! Excellent shooting, Kort!
