Description
I wanted to post one more from here, just for some scale. You can see by the dots, red an otherwise, on the shore, that it's not a very big lake. But it certainly was a beautiful place. I hope to go back someday.
These photos were taken in late August; it's safe to say the water doesn't ever get very warm. :-)
Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

This has been a fantastic series. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and photos.
Love the scale you bring to this one - all those little people. What a huge dirty glacier!
Beautiful capture of this lake and the glacier! The dots show well how big the glacier is! Love those rings in the ice! Gorgeous work, Dennis! :)
Wonderful series, The lake sure does look big compared to the people standing by it. It's very pretty in that blue hue. As always a nice capture from you!
Thanks for the terrific tour! I enjoyed this series very much. It's fascinating to see the 'icebergs' floating about in the lake and know it's the heat of the summer. Quite amazing.
The sense of scale and vastness really comes through in this image - Lori is right, the series is spectacular. I'm surprised at the number of hikers. More often than not, Lori and I are alone on the trails that we explore. Not that I'm complaining!!! But back to the subject, this is a fabulous presentation, Dennis.
It's so pretty there. Thanks for sharing.
