Description
Before digital art came along, I used to putter with woodwork and found objects. Ripping old dressers apart, or using old weathered wood I found in a spot along San Francisco Bay was more fun than just buying new wood. I got on a kick of making boxes and I'm now cataloging them with a camera.
This one is 23H x 20W, oil enamel

Funny & enigmatic objet, love it !
Cool box... I like it too!
The box looks as witty as your images, really super work!
Fantastic! I really enjoy your creativity Dave, it is always refreshing, and rich with imagination...dis is art...imaginative and for the purpose of no one and the enjoyment of all. (=
Outstanding work man Love the paintings on this piece. Hey try printing some of your stuff on special paper and then transfering to some of your new wood working pieces
Fun pic and we all did soemthing before CG.
Whimsical and wonderful work! It sort of reminds me of an artist named Ken Price. He did this ceramic thing called happy's curios. Fun stuff!
Cool box! You photographed it pretty well too!
Physical art! Well done to boot.
