wow very nice. it is very dark and has a message to boot! sorry bout your mother...
Wow I got goosebumps from your poem. That is a really amazing bit of writing, and the picture, is excellent! Bravo!!!!
((((((((Hugs)))))))))) Beautiful Dayna xxoo
It's true that the ones closest to us sometimes cause us the most pain..it takes courage to become your own person and I applaude you. This is a very powerful work and and SO very well done.
Your poetry and this image, together are a powerful piece of art. The emotion and mood they evoke is amazing. Thank you for sharing something so intensely personal.
Wow its dark but it is also very masterful and the poem really sets it off! Great job!
There is a sort of dichotomy to "Perfection" - To be perfect means you are apart from those who are not, thus you are imperfect - you don't fit in. To be imperfect means you mesh with those around you, thus you perfectly fit in. Your poem was perfect. We feel your pain and we empathize; we see your courage to bear this burden of self exposure and we understand. By sharing something deep and personal you brought others in - you are not alone. That is something to remember. :-)
Continue to write about this; it may well be the key to freeing your perspective of someone who affects your life so deeply.
Great pic and terrific poem, my heart goes out to you and hope it cleansed your soul. Sending you a cyber hug to help you feel better.

Great lighting and pose. I am sorry your mother puts you thru such pain.
Sorry to hear that. this is a fantastic piece of artwork even if very sad and i hope things turn out better for you. Nothing hurts as much as a mothers rejection. Bug hugs to you xxxxxxxxx
While dark and reflecting pain, it is also a real life reflection of the way things sometimes are. Brilliantly done!
Very dramatic, both the image and poem!! I lost my mother two years ago. I know what it is like to have someone overbearing and overprotective, sometimes, you feel like breaking free. Thanks for the message, it might inspire me to become my own person. Vote and fave!!!! ^_^ Frankie
Awesome image.Bravo.
I know excactly what you feel!! I was in a similar position and to make you free from this is the only way for you. It is hard but right, believe me. My thoughts are with you Louise, I wish I could give you the strenght to do what I couldn't! Good that you can put your emotions in such excellent pictures and words, that is better than psycho therapy! A big Hug Ute
Beautiful and sad poem Louise, my thoughts are with you too!!!! Superb image in relation with your poem!!!!! BIG Hugs my friend!!!!
I'm very sorry to hear about your family issues. You're a good person and don't deserve it. Poetry and art are the best therapies I know of to help you through hard times. So are friends. If you need someone to listen, I'm an IM or PM away.
awwwww beatyful...this pix really tells a story. I feel so sorry for you when I read the poem hun :( God Bless you hugs Tina
Hi Hun, I'm sorry about how your mum treats you. I don't understand why some parents can't just let their children alone and let them live their lives they way they see fit. Anyway, this is outstanding poem and such an intense and emotional work. Your feelings scream out from my monitor. I do wish I could help but I can give you a big cyber HUGS. Maria
this poem could have been written for me :o( you are not alone Chris
Adversity makes us stronger, but building strength is not a pleasant process. I know how difficult it can be to expose so much of yourself in your work. I applaud your courage in what you have shared with us here. As always your imagery is first rate. May brighter days be on you horizon. hugs
I am amazed that you could transform your pain into a powerful piece that speaks to everyone. I hope that creating the work in some way gave you some peace in your heart. Be well --Diane
