Description
This is a shot of Multnomah Falls, Oregon's most popular tourist attraction. I took it today on my way back from a showshoe hike, of which I'll have pictures later. The temperature was right around freezing, but there was a wind of about 40 mph (65kph) which made the wind chill very nasty.
My next upload will be a closer shot of the same waterfall. I hope everyone enjoys viewing these as much as I enjoy sharing them.
Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

Wow, nice capture. Love the bridge right under the falls. Gives it character. Aloha
Lovely work!
I definitely enjoy your photography, as well as your fractals. This is a great shot of the falls with the ice; I'm anxious to see your next post. I'm glad it was you standing out there in that nasty wind and cold and not me!
WOW, Dennis. Fantastic shot. I agree with Barbara. Better you than me. :~)
Fabulous capture of this tourist attraction! I can imagine why although the cold now will prevent a crowd of visitors! Gorgeous work! :)

Amazing! I have seen a summer shot of this spot, this is so incredibly more dramatic!
A wonderful capture. I've been there a number of times, but never in the winter. Thanks for sharing.
What an amazing image and natural wonder! The capture and presentation are gorgeous!
Hey - I'll bite! This is an awesome shot. That's probably about as cold as it needs to be before there are no people on the bridge! Can I tell you this is very cool?
