Description
Lots of level photoshopping on this one. Basically everything except the sun (a badly erased lens flare) is in Bryce. Haven't checked the scene size, but there are about 500 asteroids/rocks. And yeah, again, lots of photoshopping, layer masks and the like. I think it came out interesting, not quite the crisp thing I had in mind, but all the same, good enough for the general 'mood' it sends out.

Good pic. Woudl liek a clearer shot of the craft. It happens to me too I do a lot of work on something and it turns out differently than I had planned.

Nice finished product. I like the depth in this. Just a note, if you want to boost the crisp feel, try back lighting or contrasted complimentary color/tone. Well done Mihn!

i am in the "can't see the ship" camp here, which is a pity cos the image could be so much better with that part.

Nicely done. I notice there's no chair. This is becoming a trend isn't it.

There is a tendency to show how clever we've been with our modelling and our art and show everything in bright colours and lighting, whereas I much prefer to see a final product that has an greater atmosphere and mood. In short... Dark is good, I like it.

Way too dark for me....:-(

Excellent indeed, love the colors :)

Brilliant work on the planet and asteroids, they look awesome! I've got a decent monitor so the darkness isn't bad from my view. Excellent!

I'm more in Phil's camp here...very little of outerspace is "well-lit". I can see all of the ship I need to. Too many people have their monitor set too dark. Well done, Drac!

Love the darkness of the space! Bravo!
Bea
This is well done. Excellent

I didn't want to comment on this until I had two good eyes to see it(eye infection)but now that I can be objective I'd have to say that the lighting is perfect for this scene and I can see the ship perfectly well. Like I said before, the background is brilliantly done, and your ship is a tres cool original design! Keep it up man!

I liked the WIP but this is excellent as well. Like how the debris fades in front of the intense sun and the reddish nebula mist is perfect :)

Shame the sun set early, would have liked it a bit lighter, but saying that, it does give the viewer the chance of studying it longer. well done

agree with 'light on ship'..but that takes nothing away from this wonderful work..wow..really impressive..love it! :)
