Description
A tribute image to thank Renderosity artists antje (Antje Darling) and rj001 (Richard Jeferies). Antje provided the wonderful Photoshop dynamic brushes enabling me to create the background. Rj001 provided the meshes for the space station and all the ships. Thanks are also due to Django (Manfred Thaller) for continuing to let me use his well-done hull textures. Other textures used on this image come from various free sources on the Internet.
Modeling done in trueSpace 6.6, background created in Photoshop 7, running lights added using Universe Image Creator, and registration markings made in CorelDraw 12.
This scene is not set in any particular universe but rather just do for fun and exercise creating space backgrounds. I encourage other Renderosity artists to check out the Merchants page and what neat things they can acquire to add to their own 3D CGI art.
