Description
Hope your holidays were enjoyable and spent with some loved ones! Been kinda busy with the holidays, but wanted to wish everyone happy holidays, and send a little sunshine from the Big Island here in Hawaii. Here's a view from under the banyan tree looking towards Mauna Kea over the duck ponds.
Much Aloha to everyone!

Beautiful picture. Love that Mountain. Aloha
Gorgeous shot Dave. But, what did you do to the water? Looks like a painting. Aloha and have a happy holiday season too. C Ya....
The composition in this shot is very interesting and is what drew me in from the thumbnail.
that a big tree there and the roots is something to behold
I went to see the banyan tree in Lahina, it is supposed to be the largest one in the world?? It took up the whole city block, very impressive!! This compo looks very painterly Dave, excellent postwork!!!! ;)
Yes. Agree with all the above. Island paradise, indeed.
Very impressive and most beautiful image. Looks like a painting indeed. Superb!!!
That is some wild tree trunk. Now you can see how good this would look as a painting.I also like how you did the point of view, peeking out from behind that tree.
Nice shot and POV. What did you do to the water, looks like fish!! Neat tho.... Steve
Fantastic !!! VOTE !!!
Hi David, this is a pure wonder. It must be good to being there (here its cold and snowing!!!!) Fabulous shot!
I could rest there for a while!! lovely image Dave, well done. Much Aloha to you too
Much Aloha back Bro'!...this is a beaut!!!
It looks like a lovely painting! Well done!
Wow, this is stunning work! IMHO it would have been even more perfect when changing your POV with only 6 inches or so, the branch would have left free the mountain and the compo would have been ravishing (it's still beautiful, though)! :) Impressive work, love it! Happy holidays!
fantastic work, super done!!!! :)
Beautiful view and beautiful tree. Looks like a painting, especially the duck pond.
Really impressed by that tree trunk! A very beautiful view! I'm with Jan about the compo... gorgeous shot though! Aloha
How marvellous! Looks and feels like a 19th century painting of a rustic scene. Great composition and colours.
Wonderful colors.

My god. I tell you it's a really cool shot; it's like looking at the view the Banyon gets to see every day....or is that what you meant by "Banyan View"...silly me. Awesome shot.
