Description

Hi, Everyone! This one is a VERY close relative to my "Answered Prayer," but I'm experimenting with new (for me) gradients. "Answered Prayer" uses my beloved oranges, but I like the soft, pale palette of this one, too. I'd be interested in knowing which one you prefer. For those of us who celebrate Thanksgiving, Happy Thanksgiving! And for the rest of the world, Happy, Happy, Happy! Enjoy! Linda UF

I will tell you my real opinion if you don't mind. I find there is not enough contrast in the colours of this palette. Both colours are too pale.

A lovely detailed 'n' colored fractal! Nice texturing and depth! Fantastic lighting! IMHO-the gradient kicks butt! lol q-: V (:

I prefer the first one as more details can be seen. This looks a bit washed out.

I prefer the soft palette. Maybe its because I'm female. But then I also like bold colours. It's difficult to say. This image would probably look just as spectacular in bold red/blue and gold. I think you've probably picked colours that have the same tone. That's what is important. Also its just a great shape with wonderful colour. You can't ever go wrong :)

Ohhh, this one's beautiful too, Linda! Honestly, I can't choose between them, as I love them both! Such wonderful color mixes you're using now, they're really nice! hugs

That gradient is stunning! All your gradients are always nice, by the way. Happy Thanksgiving to you. You have something to be truly thankful for, special, this year.

You know I'm a sucker for pastels, and with your touch they turn to magic. A beautiful render!

They are both lovely! This one is more ethereal, while the other is more vibrant. They might look fantastic hung as a duet on the wall :)

Oh such lovely soft pale coloring and textures, and the design is splendid; sublime mood and an excellent image. I love them both, Linda. Happy days, Linda :~)))!

You know that I always like when people try out something NEW. And going away from the "Same Ol' Gradient" is definitely a small step into the NEW direction :-) Keep on going...

Hi Linda, I much prefer this one, I think the softer approach suits the image far better and you've got a great colour combination ! Also, though the other had higher contrast, it was overall more one colour and so less interesting.

I prefer the other one, but I like this one too. There's something about the lack of contrast that makes me look harder. Maybe if you had the edges of the structure darker (but only the very edges) then people might not be so bothered by the similarity of the colours not at the edges, I don't know, just a thought.
