Description
The Night of the Triffids - When Plants Attack!
Followers of my work will recognise many of the elements in this picture from other stuff I've done. This picture was also entered in the 3dcommune 'Ghouls on Film' halloween contest. It would have won too but the other guys images were better!!
All modelled by me with my beloved tS 5.1 (tS 7? Pah! Who needs it?). The only bit that is not original is the poster for "The Cabinet of Dr Caligari" a german horror movie made about 90 years ago around the same time as "Metropolis" and "Nosferatu".
As always, any comments gratefully appreciated...
Stephen

To kewl Stephen. I wonder how many remember that movie :)
Who needs TS 7? Certainly not you!! Another masterpiece here - The triffids look great and I really love all of your modeling - those houses in the background, the truck, the lamp - you not only know how to make great stuff, you know how to put it together into a scene full of personality and creative thought!
Excellent!! An instant fav!! Love the classic SCI-FI/Horror look! Superb effects!!
Well if Im not allowed my shot gun then hand me the weed killer :) He He Another great scene from you Stephen. I've always had a soft spot for the triffids and youve done them justice mate.
I was a young enough when 'The Night of the Trifids' first came out that it scared the crap out of me. I love the lightning, and the whole image is superb.
