Etrange... J'ai du mal croire qu'il n'y a pas un peu de postwork ici... En tout cas le rultat est sympa (me si il y a beaucoup beaucoup trop de gammas... c'est l'influence Delmurienne, cette tendance aux gammas ev? ;-)

@pimbotin : indeed Philippe, some postwork here : the arch was very dark and so, it was an interesting picture to put in practice what nathalie06 teached me when she was in Belgium (Thank you once more, Nathalie, for sharing your PS expertise !) Regarding gamma level, I just edited the picture and corrected it with PhotoFiltre 6.1, applying a factor 0,70 ! For me it indeed looks better now and for you ? (sorry for the first viewers...) May be "professor Pimbo" could give me/us a "lesson" about gamma saturation in the Forum ? or in your gallery ? Anyway, thank you very much, dear Philippe, for your interesting and constructive comment ! Enjoy the rest of your week-end ! Bien amicalement :~)

Yeah, good old film can record the high contrasts between the sky and the dark arch better, and to get it on screen more as we actually perceived it there's no other way than to adjust gamma's. However, the results are clearly visible here and I had the same feeling as Philippe (there's an unnatural transition between the arch and the sky). To prevent these things from happening a fill-in flash could be helpful. Wonderful work anyway, Michel! :)

Ohhh ...I love looking out from beneath the stones like this!! The stones have such a wonderful texture and that jagged edge is very interesting also! A beautiful scene and excellent postwork on this!! It didn't look unnatural to me at all Michel.. to have some of that sunny day filtering into the entrance way! I think you did beautifully!! :-) Excellent!

Mais c'est quoi toujours ces histoires de gammas ,ev? 4 ans de photoshop, jamais pris le chou avec un truc pareil, quand je prends en photo les wc ,on voit clair jusque dans le trou!Bellephoto!( aux gammas ev certes !!!!!!!!!)

Me si je connais tr bien cet endroit, il reste un de mes favoris de notre rion. J'aime beaucoup le contraste entre la lumie et l'ombre de l'arrie plan. Tu as retravailler les pierres l'avant-plan? Belle journ mon papa.

Tu as drement bien fait de la retravailler cette photo et d'laircir l'arche, elle est parfaite comme , et tr naturelle. Je n'ai jamais touchaux gammas de mes photos, et comme toi je serais curieuse de savoir ce que fait ! Et donc c'ait toi le Chevalier qui arrivait au galop par cette porte ???? Lol ! Bisous Michel ! V
