The sun was sinking fast. The couple looked like they were about to move. And I would have had to run across 4 lanes of traffic to get to the other side of the fence. So I followed my rule of shooting first, then get in-close. What you can do with things like fences and wires that you can't avoid is to make them work for the image. In this case, repeating shapes.
