dom zu limburg
sometimes we need some warmth...
a picture taken last sunday at a wonderful day in limburg with my wonderful lady... :))
shown is the lahn-river and the cathedral of limburg - a wonderful cathedral - quite unusual - a completely Romanesque cathedral - simple and beautiful... a very light cathedral...
location: limburg, germany
framing: what do you think...?

next posting: dom zu limburg - detail I
previous posting: wide view
oh - well... ranking is open - but: i'd like to get honest ones... so a honest "NICE" with a useful comment is more worth than an excellent what is not meant this way... ;)
thanks for stopping by and watching :) and of course - critics, thoughts, whatever are welcome - the more useful the better... ;) so don't hesitate to point out things which could be done better... thank you! -christian picture taken with canon 300D postwork/framing in Xara X1/PSP9/PSE3

WOW - amazing colours and the subtle POV, leaves me drooling for more...
lovely
What a beautiful photo!!! INCREDIBLE PHOTO EVEN!!! That cathedral looks sooo beautiful, and then theres that river...oh sooo calm river with trees of autumn along side of it....BEAUTIFUL!!! AMAZING!!! The frame is also very beautiful...but im not that sure about the line you have crossing part of the photo. Have a great weekend C. #:O)
Gorgeous photo but i too find the line across image distracting:)
i am not familiar with Photowork and come out the fractal corner but i recognize good work Hate the friendly voting Hot 20 system but for this one you have my well derserved vote Its really fantastic in all his aspects
Beautiful image with wonderful autumn colors and mood. I love the warm tones. Excellent POV and framing!!!
Beautiful, just beautiful. Looks like you have spent some time waiting for the perfect lighting to come along as well. Is this taken on a slide film or digital, if digital then you have master the art. A photo that is worth publishing, simply wonderfully captured. Well done..........
wonderfull landscape! so quit and immobile!
Beautiful framing and lighting! You really nailed it on this one!
Oh wow...!! Great POV... and love the light here... :-) Better than it looked first in real... :-) GExcellent capture! Love the reflections in the water and the autumn atmosphere. :-)) Love the balance in this picture uda fiue And the focus is straight, but not only conducted to the cathedral! Very very good positioning here! The framing is quite good, like the elegant and simple framing - but I do not like the upper line in the picture itself - find this a bit disturbing... imho it would be better if you had placed it also in the black frame.. Nevertheless you deserve an excellent here!! Excellent composition, lovely colours, wonderful atmosphere and yes, you get a real digital master... :-) hurray :-)) hugesthugz fmad dvtmjsuads
oh my gosh...not "nice" but simply beautiful and painterly-like....what a gorgeous site!
absolument superbe,ensemble de couleurs parfaites!
Looks like a perfect day - very fine work.
Wonderful scene with this beautiful water reflections! Excellent mood and atmosphere!!!
A magical scene. You caught this at the right time for great natural lighting. The river is like clear ice, no movement. Excellent photo graph. The frame is lovely, but I would prefer the upper line to be in the black frame. It is a bit distracting now. You are a wonderful photographer always capturing something special.
Very beautiful shot. Love the pov and all those colors. Excellent. :)
"Warmth" is just the right word to describe this beautiful image!
Great.
wonderful shot!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lovely capture, the peaceful water of the Lahn and the soft fall colors add to the mood so well! The line on top of the frame is distracting but the rest of the frame fits well! Gorgeous work!
Lovely water reflection and wonderful natural light in this shot. Superb!!!
Beautiful colours
pure classical landscape art... outstanding :))))))

I like it! I think the frame is kind of inovative, and the photo is gorgeous! I love the mood! 8-)
