Description
This was just a fun thing . supposed to be a sorta whimsical folky modern art.
This is one of my smudge paintings I do by hand by taking paint or a picture and smudging around the paint till i get something I like with only the smudge and paint tools no brushes. IT was hard this time cause my mouse ran out of bateries and i had to use an old roller ball mouse on this so its not as fine as I can normally do with my smudging!!..done in paint shot 7 .
This is Mary Lyndas cat. Thank you MAry Lynda ( SophiaDeers sister ).
I saw and like the colors in a recent picture she took and asked her permission and used the picture, - or-lol totally redid it I mean ... if you want to see the oringinal cat ( blades) real photo go here:

Wow - beautiful - thought it was a painting!
Oh how beautiful and cute you have painted this so lovely looking cat! I'm sure that she got definately enough food! LOL What I love as well if the fabulous looking frame around her! Splendid art really! Bravo!!! V
Sure looks like folk art to me. Job well done. I am not sure what you mean by smudging...I assume you are referring to photoshop ? I often use a trackball. Sure takes some good coordination to use it. You did a wonderful job here. GREAT FOLK ART IMAGE !!!!! LOVE IT.
Oh, this is so adorable. Love those BIG eyes and eyelashes and what you did with the original. Like you said, it gave Blade a cheshire look. Wonderful art and I DO LOVE YOUR SMUDGING. V. :o) CC
COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL CAT C:

Love how you made her eyes and lashes....very seductive. Blade also wants to thank you for shaving off a few pounds. LOL I feel so honored that you chose one of my photos to be the reciptent of your creative genius. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!!:o)))))))))) Lots of hugs and kitty licks , Lynda V

Your talent at smudging is remarkable....
Good on You Sister Smudgie....keep the Faith! puuuuuur
you need to consider the laser rechargeable mouse. it gives far better control than regular. Sam's Club has it for $70. super smudging!!
You are very talented!!!!! I really love this cat!!!
very excellent and cute as can be!!
Soooo cute!!! Finally I get to see an official kimmers smudging that I have heard so much about...hehe :-) It is so cool to look at the original photo of Blade and then see what you did here! Thank you for sharing the link! Fantastic work...love the folk art look of this picture!! Excellent!
Kimmers, I don't know how you do such a fine job of smudging with just a mouse. If you got a Wacom tablet/pen, it would be sooooo much easier and quiker for you. This is really fantastic work.. I don't think I ever heard of Paint Shot 7...LOL
Super work you did to this cat.. your smudging here is absolutely fantastic. he he .. yeah, you should try not to have a mouse a while, only a wacom for all mousework, I am sure when you got use to it is would be like driving a car instead of running (or someting like that ha ha)..
I realized yesterday after watching a program featuring the Dogfather and his emphasis on gestures and silence in training the neighborhood dogs were barking at me because of my gestures trained by cats.
