I've been in sort of the mode of going back and re-visiting some of my older stuff. Got messing around with one I made in '03 called "Season of the Witch" - http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=519917&Start=55&Artist=Rykk&ByArtist=Yes
I'd started just messing with the coloring of the "spells" or balls the "witch" is tossing out into the world and ended up changing the background, too, so I figured I'd give this one a new name rather than "#2" since it's a good bit different - better? It got kinda darker and spookier - go figure, a day (or two) late and a dollar short for Halloween. What a slacker! lol
Heading out 2day for an "emergency" safari to Sanibel Island for a quick few days of shelling - woohoo! Only 2 weeks left until I have to go back top work so this is my last chance for a long while. The tides are lined up just right so I'm heading out to see if I find a junonia this year. Wish me luck? Linda, I'm thinking of you and Mike especially now since we both love the place - hang in there!

I like this one much better than the original - it's more vivid and has more depth of field and mood. The purple-green spheres remind me of rainbow fluorite, my favorite rock.
The image gained a lot of effect on me by your tweak.
Like it all, a great picture and 3d world special compliment for the floor part that,s sublime and also the soft water effect there in the end of the background, that you can create spheres that ,s not a real surpice LOL Very cool end result Rick

Superb! The witches "arms" are fantastic, it literally looks like they are hurling the balls into the atmosphere. I like the glow of light behind the main ball and just below the witch arm too. Really nice!
