Description
Hi ~ thanks for swingin' by! :)
I was going through my picture folders here on my computer and came across this Asian Beetle I thought looked kinda neat sitting there on a leaf. There are soooo many of these things around here; for the past few years, it's been just terrible. They completely cover every corner of the rooms in peoples homes, and when you open a window, they rain down on you and when you open a door -- down they come. It's bad. Don't know who's idea it was to ship 'em on over here; they do nothing but annoy people and fill our vacume bags weekly. Sounds mean, I know .. but it's that bad.
Of course seeing just ONE isn't bad. :)
Thanks again for viewing and for any comments you may have.
Have a terrific Sunday! :)
Shari

Jolie coccinelle, bravo pour la macro !
G'day. Im amazed you have plagues of them. Were lucky to get just one in our garden. Lady bugs are good luck here. They eat the aphids off of the roses. Excellent close up shot.
Marvelous macro and amazing image.V.
Shari, A perfectly photographed specimen and the frame completes it.
Great macro and nice capture of this Ladybird.
sounds they are like the monsters midges in scotland! LOL but it is a fabulous lighted capture of the wonderful colored buggy! ;o)
This macro is outstanding too! Love to see all the details. Excellent!!!
Really an excellent macro, very nice composition!
"fill our vacume bags weekly"...ROFL!!!! There sure got to be many of them then. It sure looks like a yellow lady bug doesnt it. Did you use your close-up filter one this one? Its absolutely AMAZING Shari!!! The focus couldnt be better, and your DOF...oh your DOF!!!!! This is definitly a macro to be mighty proud of....CLAPCLAPCLAP Have a great sunday!!! #:O)
Wish you could ship them over here...I love seeing these in my garden. Great shot.
An excellent macro of this ladybug!..great shot!
What do you say now, 'they do nothing but annoy people'? Uh uh... They eat LICE! Unfortunately your part of the world seems to be a bit more crowded with them but perhaps the amounts of lice will be far less than here! Beautiful capture of your buggy annoyer! :)
Outstandig focus truly awesome macro... sublime :))))...:))))
Perfect and VOTE!!!!!!!!!
very nice shot, my wife loves ladybugs too
they're always welcome at our house.. do tend to sweep a few too many up though.. fine shot! :]
wow incredible macro of this incredible spotted beetle..!! ... fantsatic!!!
Gosh, I didn't know they were a pest in some parts of the world! Ah, well, pest or not, this is a beautiful shot.
Just plain awesome photo! I love this kinda stuff.
Beautiful capture of this macro! Excellent photograph!
great frame and focus on that one! Can even see the tuniest hairs and reflections in the shiny carapace. The yellowish ones were bad in Indiana two years ago and they would emit a stink when you squashed 'em, which was hard not to do! I was happy to visit and then happy to return. Not so many this year, guess they ate up all the lice!
What a great image I also love the frame around it Will catch up on your other images I have been in ICU since Friday all my levels dropped to like 2.2 been so sick Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers Vote n hugs Susan~
