This one took way longer to make than I expected!
Hard to get the model ready for her shoot!
Kimarie is one of the nicest people I have met here!
She is always brimming over with enthusiasm.
When I got around to thinking of a piece to honor
her with, I knew it had to be something that spoke
to that childhood joy of everyday things.
This is inspired by a drawing I did some 20 years
ago,but I have taken a different direction.
Thank you Kimarie, for your unwavering support
and friendship! You are a gift to us all!

What an absolutely wonderful and magical reminder of childhood innocence, something it's so hard to hold onto once you've grown. The expression on her face as she hold the beautiful butterfly is priceless and brings back memories of my daughter when she was small. A wonderful and lovely dedication; thank you for the tears and the smile.
That is absolutely charming. The effect of the girl in pencils with the butterfly the only thing in color is really wonderful. The animation just adds to it. Supurbly done.
Now that is very nice and I know Kimmer will just love it.

I have been sitting here starring at it for like 10 minutes with a big smile on my face ... this has touched me in the deepest places of my heart!! i know all the trouble you went to go to for this and been eagerly awaiting it as you mentioned you were preparing me one. BUT. ..., I was not prepared for how amazing and incredible it would be. ...ohhhhhhhhh you drew her!!! And that annimation look at my arm i have goosebumps ... SHE is so lovely and the selective coloring of that butterfly is simply wonderful. yes, wonderful in everyway.GOING TO MY FAVORITES ... i was going to bed but something told me to goto your gallery.. and now i have watery eyes.. you have made my YEAR!!
